Canary Yellow!

Yesterday I was sorting through the delivery at work (the most exciting part of the day) when I discovered a most gorgeous highlighter yellow Roskandra Ilincic dress on the rail. Behind this was a glowing canary colored piece by Jil Sander. My current love for nudes and creams disappeared in an instant!

After work I was flicking through Elle Collections whilst on the exercise bike at the gym. My eye was immediately drawn to the life in technicolour pages where Pantone 107U and 1205U shone out of the pages! I had a flash back to 2006 when Michelle Williams wore the stunning Vera Wang number to the oscars (yes it was that long ago, I was shocked too).

This summer I am going to have to brave the highlighter colour. I am not sure I'll be brave enough to mix it up with lace like Christopher Kane. (How does that man always manage to make something that should be so wrong look so right!) I will cheer myself up through the pretty grim British summer with a ray of sunshine dress! If anyone wants to treat me to a Roskandra number feel free!
